IV League: The Sterile Compounding Masterclass is the National Sterile Compounding Institute's flagship, instructor-led training experience.
Over three intensive days, you'll learn and practice sterile compounding skills in a full-scale cleanroom environment that reflects hospital and 503A pharmacy settings.
The IV League Masterclass equips you to perform with greater competence and confidence — whether you're developing a sterile compounding career, transitioning into a new pharmacy environment or building on your existing experience.

TRAINING IN A REAL CLEANROOM
You’ll train in NSCI’s purpose-built cleanroom laboratory using real hoods, equipment and materials under the guidance of experienced instructors. Personal coaching and immediate feedback help refine technique, reinforce best practices and build confidence.
Your IV League Experience Includes

Foundations
Cleanroom design, contamination control, garbing, hand hygiene and facility workflow.
Day 2
Practical Sterile Compounding
Hands-on aseptic technique, sterile manipulations, documentation and realistic simulations.
Day 3
Competency Assessment
Environmental monitoring, cleaning procedures, competency evaluations and instructor feedback.
Meet Your Instructor
IV League is led by Samantha Tricarico, CPhT-Adv, CSPT, an experienced sterile compounding professional, technician educator and NSCI lead consultant.
Samantha brings more than 20 years of sterile compounding, technician education and consulting experience. Her practical teaching style combines live demonstrations, guided practice and individual coaching.
